*

The * suffix lists the deployments you own or edit under a host or path, with their screenshots and the actions you can take on each one.

Syntax

plain
https://name.rt.ht/*
https://example.com/blog*
https://name.rt.ht/docs**

The path ends in one or more *. A path that ends in /*, other than /* itself, is redirected (307) to the same path ending in *: /docs/* becomes /docs*.

The index is a string-prefix search over route keys. The prefix is the route key of the host plus the path before the stars, with trailing slashes removed. name.rt.ht/* lists name, name/docs and every other key that starts with name, such as names or name2, but only the routes you may see.

Parameters

editor, e

A comma-separated list. - alone keeps the routes without editors. An empty value keeps the routes that have any editor. A token matches a route when its editor list contains the token, the token's domain or *.

saver, s

A comma-separated list. - alone keeps the routes without a saver. An empty value keeps the routes with a saver. A token matches the saver by email (a@b.c), by domain (b.c matches x@b.c) or by *.

N

The page size: an integer with no surrounding whitespace, up to 1,000. The default is 1,000. Other values are ignored.

cursor

The cursor of the next page. The Next link of the index sets it and keeps the other parameters.

All filters apply after a page of routes is fetched, so a page can show fewer than N routes even when more exist.

Response

RequestStatusBody or target
Signed in200The HTML index. Content-Type: text/html;charset=utf-8, Cache-Control: no-store.
Signed out303Location: <path>::sit plus the original query, for example /*::sit, /blog*::sit or /*::sit?e=-.
Path ending in /*, other than /*307The same path ending in *.

::sit signs the visitor in, or returns at once when a session exists, and then comes back to the index.

The index page

The header shows the prefix, the number of routes you can see and your email. A click on your email opens <path>::sa, "Sign as different user…". Each entry shows the route name, linked to //in.rt.ht/<route>, its screenshot, the deploy time, the saver and the editors. A Back and Next pager appears when there is a cursor, and an empty index reads "no routes".

Access

The index needs sign-in. It is the private index for route owners and editors: a route appears when you own it, or when you match one of its editors by email, by domain or with *. A route whose editors include * appears in the index of every signed-in visitor. See Owners, editors and savers.

Examples

html
<a href=/*>My deployments</a>

The absolute /* lists every route under the host's key that you own or edit. Signed-out visitors are sent through sign-in first.

Filter the index

plain
https://name.rt.ht/*?e=-
https://name.rt.ht/*?s=example.com&N=20

The first URL lists the routes without editors. The second lists the routes saved by @example.com accounts, 20 at a time.
